ADMINISTRATION

About Us (and I use the term loosely!)

Fluoride is an issue that has been researched by the webmaster since August 1991. However, it was not until the year 2000 that the web-site fluoride.org.uk appeared.

The web-site began it's existence as a basic collection of pre-published news items, leaflets, etc. Then we changed the name to FluoridationFacts.com, and finally, to fluoride.website.

While a dot.com is more universal and appeals to a larger audience, fluoridationfacts.com will remain in our possessions and redirect here.

There have been some changes - some enforced by changing the way our website is viewed. Today, a website has to be able to be viewed on much smaller screens. That is why the new website is fully-responsive.

By 'fully-responsive' (and for the unitiated), we mean that whatever size screen you use to view this website, our content will automatically rearrange to be viewed on whatever size monitor you have. It's not a 100% fool-proof system. While images can be reduced in size, text reordered, tables remain a problem. Until someone at Google, or elsewhere, finds a solution, data tables will not be responsive. Thus, we apolgise in advance if you find some of our table text and figures a wee bit on the small side.

The only other thing you need to know about me, and the website's contributors, is this: are we sufficiently qualified to speak about the dangers of fluorides and fluoridated water?

Well, yes, to be perfectly (and emphatically) blunt! And judging by some of the literature published by the pro-fluoride lobby, I (the website owner) am a positive 'Einstein' in comparison!

More seriously, I have worked very hard on this subject and researched and investigated vast amounts of material. OK, so I am a college / university 'drop-out', but it is knowledge, understanding and a smattering of intelligence (my IQ is 137) that counts at the end of the day.

So who do you trust the most at the end of the day? A 'paid-for' and compromised pro-fluoride lobbyist with vested interests, and with a title (such as Doctor or Professor) and so many letters after their name they have trouble fitting them all on to headed notepaper? Or do you listen to someone who has worked their fingers to the bone and can talk from experience?

I let the visitor to this website be the judge. All I ask is that you keep an open mind - and perhaps more importantly, an open heart.
